Biography: Gary Lang has over 35 years of experience in the field of Sports Medicine, Injury Prevention. Biomechanics, Rehabilitation and Higher Education. His experiences with USA athletes in two Olympic Games, multiple World Championships, multiple National Championships, 1994 World Cup Soccer, eight major Collegiate Football Bowl Games, 10 years of patient care in Physical Therapy and 31 years as a Professor of Sports Medicine in Collegiate education have made him a better Educator and Clinician. Currently the CEO of Dynamic Release Therapy, Mr. Lang patented Técnica Gavilán Instruments and created advanced soft tissue techniques increasing successful patient outcomes and preventing overuse stress on the hands of practitioners. Research Interest: Our "touch" can never be replaced, although there are other skills, techniques and technologies that broaden our sensitivities without causing pain or bruising. “Fascia to Function” is a 10 hour, hybrid Laboratory Workshop offering International Certification in Advanced Soft Tissue Manipulation. Participants will gain new techniques and biomechanical skills, altering - releasing collagenous restrictions, “scar tissue”, that will increase successful outcomes for their patients. Stress from improper mechanics, commonly felt in the hands of practitioners, will be prevented or significantly reduced and the life of a career will be extended.
